NAME: Bogey Golfer

Stalking new courses by day, prowling the net for that next trip by night, never quite focussed on his day job, he is……. the Bogey Golfer.

In a game dominated by posers, The Bogey Golfer bleeds to give the hacker the recognition they deserve. Trained in the dark arts, his game became a mixture of power hitting, deft touches, soft hands, and subtle reads. Unselfishly shunning the recognition he deserves for his domination of the courses he reviews, he remains anonymous for the sake of those close to him.

IN THE BAG
Bogey Golfer chooses to have the following kit in his bag !

Driver
Titlesit's new 910 D3 Driver with independent loft and lie adjustment, and one of the most forgiving heads in golf, allows the user to maintain control, flight and distance off the tee. The ball flight control is the key to this club. The ball flight and height off the tee is considerably lower than comparable clubs on the market, maintaining control in the air. Overall, a very forgiving driver, with adjustable settings makes it a great buy for the higher marker.

Bogey Golfer updated to the D3 after posting on the New In Golf page. When asked about his newly acquired beast, Bogey responded, "it's the most forgiving head in golf, allowing me to keep the ball in play even though I'm a rubbish golfer."

Fairway Woods
Currently sourcing and open to suggestions.

Hybrid
Currently sourcing and open to suggestions.

Irons 3-Pw
Cleveland CG7 Irons Black Pearl & Callaway X24 - Bogey recently upgraded to CG7 Tour Irons and Callaway X24's (from the X22's). He still likes the sentimentality of rolling out the old beasts but has found the new irons longer, with flatter ball flight.

Wedges
Cleveland 52/56/60 - For the majority of Bogey's early career, he made do with just the PW and SW. Having expanded his options, the 60 degree Cleveland Wedge has saved him from many difficult situations. He is particularly fond of the 60 when lifting a ball over deep bunkers (as Bogey realised at Mount Broughton recently).

Putter
Wilson Staff 8813 - A little over 18 months ago, Bogey was lucky enough to stumble upon the Wilson Staff 8813 in a poorly stocked, small town Pro Shop. This reconditioned club is his favourite weapon and the glare of the sun reflecting off the chrome finish is a beauty to behold.

Golf Balls
Bogey chooses to use Titleist Balls, and Pro V1 to be exact. Having said that, Bogey still manages to find value in the cheapest of retrieved balls (even if that is just for skimming across lakes or longest drive competitions with his closets playing partners) !
